Turkish Healthcare Travel Council Chief Executive Officer Dr. Köksal Holoğlu, came to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as the guest of Ahmet Savaşan, President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC). The two presidents determined the new road map for the more effective use of TRNC’s health tourism potential.

Within the scope of the two-day program, the two presidents held various meetings with investors as well as representatives of the health and tourism sector, TRNC President Ersin Tatar, National Assembly President Zorlu Töre and Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek, and gave information about the work carried out.

Following the visit, in their statements President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, and Turkish Healthcare Travel Council, Dr. Köksal Holoğlu said that in the two-day working meetings joint studies to be carried out among the member countries of the Global Healthcare Travel Council, especially in Turkey, and to develop the health tourism potential of Northern Cyprus, were determined.
